With total record sales well in excess of 40 million, their recent compilation album ‘The Very Best of The Searchers', which includes all of their hits, has seen a recent welcome and deserved return to the UK charts. No doubt the decade that gave us The Beatles, The Searchers and many others, was unique and pervades all cultural and age barriers today.
