After leaving school at the age of sixteen Christopher joined a group called Snaps as their lead vocalist, they already had a recording contract (Charisma Records) and a loyal following, together they released a couple of singles did a nationwide tour and featured in the trendy teen magazines of the time..

Christopher signed his first solo record deal at the age of nineteen (Magnet), and his second at the age of twenty four, (Polydor) working with some of the most talented producers and musicians in the world, including: Steve Levine, Peter Collins, Simon Cowell, Pete Waterman, Shakin Stevens, and Lenny Henry.

Christopher wrote his own Pop gossip page for the giant IPC Magazines and did a few TV shows, including the legendary "Tiswas". 

Christopher started performing live again in 1995 when he was approached to front a soul band (The Soul Traders) shortly after he was spotted by an agent who asked him to audition for the TV show "Stars in Their Eyes" Christopher took this opportunity and ended up performing to an audience of approximately ten million viewers on the 1999 series as the legendary David Essex.

 

Songwriter/Recording Artist

I can be quite obsessive about music, and in particular great songs and great songwriters. I am a great fan of Holland, Dozier and Holland, the writers and producers of many of the classic Motown hits. I also loved all of the hits produced and written by Gamble and Huff for the Philadelphia label. I admire anyone who can craft great songs, such as Lennon and McCartney, the Bee Gees, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Bacharach and David, Carole King, Bob Dylan, and Bruce Springsteen. I dream of being able to emulate my heroes, by creating a classic song that will capture the imagination of generations.
